NICHOLAS FOLLANSBEE SALE #19

Sale 19 will be held on October 20th, 2007. Like all my sales, this one is comprised of Mexican stamps and postal history. There are approximately 1,100 lots representing nearly all aspects of Mexican philately. Most are individual items, but there are also groups and collections, some of which are quite valuable. For example, there is the balance of the Rudolfo Groth-Marnat collection of the 1856 Issue (I sold the main portion two sales back) which catalogues over $22,000, and one of the revenue lots is comprised of nearly 150,000 stamps.

Featured in this sale:

The R.S. Groth-Marnat collections of the Maximilian and 1872 Issues
The Sheldon Beigel collection of Officials.
The Robert Perigoe collection of Revenues.

Each of these is easily one of the most important collections of its type to come onto the market in the last decade or more.

The other classical issues are well-represented, as is the Revolution. There is also a good philatelic literature section. The quality of the sale is clear from the scans displayed on this website.
